Refund Policy
Exchange
We are happy to exchange or refund any item returned in a saleable condition and in it's original packaging within 21 days from receipt of delivery.
In this instance, please send an email to sales@modernbeekeeping.co.uk quoting your order reference and details of your return.
Please note that unless an item is faulty or damaged, the cost of the return will be at the customer's expense. If you require us to arrange a collection, additional postage charges are £9.00 (Insured on clothing, or values of £1.00-£100.00) or £16.00 (insured on values of £100.00 - £5000.00), which will need to be paid prior to collection.
If you use your own Courier, please insure for the full value of the item returned, and keep proof of postage until the refund has been processed.
Once a return has been set up with a member of our team, please send the item along with a copy of your original invoice with a note if you would like a refund or exchange to:

PLEASE NOTE - PAINTED ITEMS ARE PAINTED TO ORDER - AND ARE NOT RETURNABLE OR REFUNDABLE UNLESS DAMAGED OR LOST IN TRANSIT.
Packaging Returned Items
All returned items must be packed in the same way that they were received. Assembled Polystyrene Hive Bodies and Full Hives/ Nuc's MUST have packaging around all sides, bottom, and roof. VOID gaps in boxes must be filled, or boxes cut down to decrease space. Complete Poly Hives Should not be stacked on the Hive Floor. Hive Floor and Roof should be packed down the side of the assembled Bodies and not underneath/on top. Loose Runners or accessories MUST be packed away from any Polystyrene parts due to scratching and movement in transit causing damage.
We reserve the right to reduce refunds on receipt of damaged, or non-saleable items that are returned and would recommend you take photos of the item returned prior to dispatch.
Damaged Items
ALL DAMAGE MUST BE REPORTED TO US WITHIN 48 HOURS OF DELIVERY.
Our Courier has a strict policy for damaged items claims.
We will need the following before a claim for damage can be made.
Photographs of:-
- External photos of the Box, damage to the box, and photo of Dispatch Label, Photo of damaged goods.
- Internal Photo - Photograph of the damaged item in the box, images of internal packing.

MISSING ITEMS
Any missed items from your order must be reported to us within 48 hours of standard delivery, or 72 hours after Pallet delivery, after this time, we may be unable to replace the items.
