Our AZ hives are of an original Slovenian construction and as such use the correct AZ frames and not adapted to suite other types. 

AZ hives offer a different type of beekeeping that eliminates most of the weight associated with removing the supers from hives, instead the frames are removed individually by opening the rear of the hive. 

These hives are best suited to being installed in a bee house or even a shed.
