The Kieler Mini-Nuc uses special wooden top bars.  These are shaped with a cut-away for queen cell introduction and have a slot beneath for the wax starter strip.  Each Mini-Nuc takes 4 top bars when used with the food compartment and 6 when the compartment is removed.  The price shown is for each top bar.
