Delivery and Returns
Once an order is received, it will be processed and despatched with 1-2 working days and the majority are sent with DPD. If for any reason there may be a delay with your order, or part of a hive is out of stock, you will be contacted straightaway.
We offer different delivery options including:
Standard (Delivery 2-3 working days after despatch)
Next Working Day
Next Working Day: Any orders received before 1pm, Monday to Thursday will be despatched for delivery on the following day. Any orders received after 1pm on Thursday may not be delivered until Monday, unless a weekend delivery is selected at the checkout.
The cost of each service depends on the total weight of your order and this will be calculated at the checkout once you have placed your items into the shopping basket.
Offshore Deliveries: The following postcodes are classed by our courier as offshore and will therefore incur an additional delivery charge and will take 2 working days to be delivered after despatch from our warehouse.

Postcodes AB30-AB35 and AB41-AB54 are charged at the standard UK rates but may take up to 2 working days to be delivered.
You may cancel your order without charge providing we are notified (and we acknowledge the notification) at any time up to the time of despatch. Thereafter, delivery charges will need to be applied. Delivery charges may also apply to goods returned which are not faulty but which the customer wishes to either exchange or receive a refund.
I live outside of the UK, how can I place an order?
We are happy to send orders worldwide. If you are based outside of the UK please add your items to the basket, select the country and complete your details. We will then email you with a quotation for the postage.
Do I have to pay VAT?
If you are based in the UK VAT will be charged on all vatable items, including delivery as this is a service that we are selling. Non vatable items include bee feed and children's clothing.
If you are based in the EU and outside of the scope of VAT, as long as you have a VAT exemption code we are happy to remove the VAT. There isn't an option to enter this on the website, however if you complete your order using the quotation method and drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org providing your VAT exemption code we will ten update your order details and send you an updated invoice which will also include the shipping costs.
For the rest of the world, VAT is zero rated, however import duties and taxes will vary from country to country and would be paid for by the customer.
Can I collect my order from you?
If you would like to collect your order from our warehouse this is not a problem, please put your order through the website and select ‘collect at warehouse’ at the delivery stage and then contact us to arrange a time to collect your order.
Please note we do not operate a shop and due to health and safety reasons it is not possible to view our products within our warehouse.
Can I add to my order once I have paid?
Yes, you can add any items to your order up until it is despatched. Please call us on 0844 888 0573 in this instance.
We are happy to exchange or refund any item returned in a saleable condition and in its original packaging within 1 month from receipt of delivery.
In this instance, please send an email to email@example.com, quoting your order reference and details of your return.
Please note that unless an item is faulty or damaged, the cost of the return will be at the customers expense. If you require an exchange, additional postage charges may be incurred.
